THE New England Highway is closed in both directions between Scone and Parkville following a collision between two trucks shortly after 3am this morning.
Highway traffic is being diverted in Scone at the lights at Liverpool Street, with motorists being directed to rejoin the Highway via Middlebrook Road, Cressfield Road.
Police urge caution to drivers and the diversion is only suitable for light vehicles, heavy vehicles are being parked.
The diversion was put in place after 3am and is expected to be in place for several hours.
