SCONE High School is holding an antiques fair on the last weekend in October to raise money for air conditioning at the school.

Antique dealers from around Australia will be selling their high-quality wares ranging from antique furniture to jewellery said Lindy Hunt, principal of Scone High School.

“There will be something for everyone,” said Miss Hunt.

“Whether you’re looking for a particular item to add to a collection or would like to find a piece with real character to add to your home, the weekend should have something to take your fancy,” she said.

“We’re really hoping the community will get behind the event and help us to raise much-needed funds,” Lindy Hunt said.

The opening will be held on Friday, October 28 allowing people to have first look at the items on offer and enjoy food, wine, entertainment and an address from former student Lauren Goode.
