THIS month the artwork will begin on the GrainCorp silos in Merriwa will begin.

“It’s great to promote the town of Merriwa on the tourist map and we are very proud to provide the canvas for this eye-catching design,” he said.

“The artwork is unique to this area and injects a local element to the silo art trail,” he said.

The artwork on the silos was identified as one of the highest priorities for Council in the Merriwa town centre in 2015 and Cr Ron Campbell said it would be a great tourist attraction.

“This will be a great tourist attraction visible from the Golden Highway,” said Cr Campbell.

“All stakeholders are very excited for the project to get underway,” Cr Ron Campbell said.
