Since 1851 Asser House has been a social hub in the Scone community and today Annie and her daughter Katie are still treating locals and visitors to friendly service and fresh country cooking, from local growers and suppliers.

“We love that this is part of original Scone and we love talking to people and uplifting people’s day with a lovely meal or a quick coffee,” said Annie Baker.

They often hold special events on Sunday’s such as high teas, brunches on Mother’s Day and are pleased to stay open a bit later during the week for a late afternoon tea.

The building is wheelchair and pram friendly and even dogs are welcome to be by your side in the courtyard.

Asser House Cafe will be open for dinner on Thursday and Friday during the Horse Festival! Contact Annie and Katie for more information.
