“Last week’s sale was pretty good, so I decided to sell, this one was a bit down, but still good,” said Matthew.

“I sold her for $1131, which is pretty good,” he said.

“I’ll buy an archery bow case and probably a couple more calves.

“I’ll wait until prices go down before I buy the calves though,” he said.

This is the best sale Matthew has had, with his last cow selling for $700 and he urges cattlemen to sell while the market is good.

“You can sell and have a lot of money, they’d probably want to go in soon though before prices go down,” he said.

“This is the best I’ve seen,” Matthew said.

Each Tuesday evening scone.com.au will post the results of the Scone stockyard sales.
