Bird’s Eye View of Your Farm

LOCAL landholders can learn how to fly a drone and produce digital maps of their farms at a free workshop later this month.

The Hunter Local Land Services and Rural Resilience Program will conduct the training as part of their drought support program.

During the one day workshop participants will e able to develop their own digital map of their farm using the LLS Property management checklist and learn to fly a drone to map the farm, monitor livestock and water.

  • ABERDEEN: Jefferson Park. 9am – 4pm, Wednesday, September 26.
  • MURRURUNDI: Wilson Memorial Park. 9am – 4pm, Thursday, September 27.
  • COST: Free.
  • MATERIALS: Please bring a smart phone and a laptop.
  • REGISTER: Drone Operation and Mapping Workshop.
