Bracing for Race Day

THE first stop after the races on the way to a pub for many race goers is the nearest hot chips and with the close of the Vogue Cafe, the new owners of the Satur Food Market are bracing themselves.

Manu Sharama and Mary Ing have said locals have warned them how busy they will be after Scone Cup.

“We have stocked up on everything and we are ready,”said Mr Shamara.

“We have owned it for the last two weeks and we have definitely seen more people since the Vogue has closed,

“We have had a good response and we want to keep improving,” he said.

In the coming months the Satur Food Market will also become home to Kim’s Bakery, but Manu assures customers they will still be serving up hamburgers, chips and the towns favourite takeaway.
