MEDISCORE: Shop 8A, Campbell’s Corner, 167 Kelly Street, Scone. Home-based sleep studies, CPAP set up and review and CPAP sales and supplies. Patients with sleep disorders can now be referred by their GP to a local sleep technologist. Symptoms might include snoring, pauses in breathing, restless sleep, insomnia, irritability, poor concentration, feeling tired during the day, headaches. PLANTS ON MAIN: The Potting Shed at 51 Main Street, Scone, has changed names and owners. It is now called Plants on Main and is run by experienced horticulturalist Lynda Posa with business partner Hilton Ariel, specialising in all plant products and giftware.

SCONE COLLECTIVE: A pop-up shop is opening on Monday, December 3 at 197 Kelly Street, Scone with handmade artisan items from local creators including: Sunny Skies and Fltterbys, Little Love-Lee’s, Hetty’s Creations, Miss Trix, Stone & Co Vintage Interiors, Faras In Focus, Chameleon Upholstery and ME Illustrations.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL: The charity shop will be opening the second week of December at 185 Kelly Street, Scone, the site of the old news agency. There will be pre-loved clothing, household items, books, records and toys. St Vincent’s has had charity bins in the area for many years, but now hope to help the community further with a shop front and help raise funds for the local community. TAFE: The old Toyota building at 25 Main Street, Scone has been purchased by TAFE and there are plans for a connected learning centre where students can be part of a virtual classroom, access video technologies and be visited by mobile training units for practical experience for a range of courses from pet grooming to automotive.
