MINI bulls will be a feature at the Cassilis Rodeo this weekend with bulls from the national finals in Tamworth coming to town.

“They are like a real bull, but tiny, so the kids get on them which is a bit of fun,” said Tim Stanley, president of the Cassilis Rodeo.

“We’ve had heaps more entries than last year, there are at least 50 more in the junior, we have 170 entries today and 439 tomorrow,” he said.

“The ground is perfect out here, we did a bit with it last night and it’s come up really good,” he said.

There will be a canteen, bar, some western shops and  Dippin’ Dots ice cream.

On Sunday the Coolibah Racing Club will be holding barrel racing, with 100 runs planned.

The charity chosen by the rodeo this year is the Where There’s A Will Foundation.
