Police: Caught Red-Handed

THREE Scone residents are due to appear in Tamworth court tomorrow after being charged by police for stealing from McCallum Inglis’ storage facility in Hay Street, Scone at 5:30am yesterday morning.

20151208PoliceTape07RWClosed circuit television cameras were activated at the facility and police were notified of two men seen carrying items on the premises.

Police attended and found two men aged 31 and 38 from Scone hiding in long grass next to the storage facility.

A 44 year old female also from Scone was found in a nearby vehicle which contained stolen items from the storage sheds.

All three were taken to Muswellbrook police station where they were charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence.

The two males were also charged with outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court for previous matters and the female was charged with breach of bail.
