PREDICTIONS of snow on the Barrington on Tuesday and Wednesday are now less likely according to the Bureau of Meteorology.

“There is a cold front coming through on Tuesday night with rain developing and the temperatures will be colder on Wednesday,” said a spokesperson from the Bureau of Meteorology.

“The chance of snow is looking less likely and it is more likely to just be rain,” he said.

“In Scone the overnight temperature will be 5 degrees on Tuesday, the maximum in the higher teens and rain developing tomorrow, with the wettest period being Wednesday morning; there might be a few showers on Thursday and Friday, but it will be clearing,” he said.

“There will also be southerly winds at about the 20-25 kilometre range and that will keep the temperatures down this week,” the spokesperson said.
