Chopper to Gundy Polo

THE Westpac Rescue Helicopter is flying a 62 year old male with head and a suspected spinal injury to the John Hunter hospital, following a fall from his horse while playing polo at Gundy.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and a doctor.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter from Tamworth was returning to base after transferring a motor cross patient, when they were diverted to Gundy.

The 62 year old was treated at the Gundy Polo ground by ambulance and a doctor before the Westpac Rescue Helicopter arrived.
