ALLDAY Concrete have set a high standard in a friendly Rivalry with a Muswellbrook earth moving company to create the best Christmas spectacle.

Peter Day of Allday Concrete in Aberdeen set a challenge to his friend Darryl of Darryl’s Bobcats to make the best Christmas creation, Darryl is still in the process of building his masterpeic.

Peter’s bear is a dominating feature of the drive on the New England Highway between Aberdeen and Muswellbrook and many cars stop to take photo’s of the creation.

His staff at Allday Concrete and family members constructed the bear out of hay bales, tyres and some handy spray painting.

“It’s caused a bit of a skirmish, I said to the boys here the other day, I think we just about started at the top, everyone likes something that’s a bit cute”

“It took us about five hours from woah to go, my nephew Mick did the merry christmas bit and is a bit of a graphiti artist so he’s responsible for the paintwork”

“He’s just about the most photographed bear in Australia, my daughter got up there the very first thing as soon as we put it up and said here’s Australia’s newest landmark”
