Cooler Week Ahead

Filed in Recent News by February 27, 2017

FOR most of this week the temperatures in the Upper Hunter are expected to be in the high 20’s and early 30’s with the chance of showers, according to the Katarina Kovacevic from the Bureau of Meteorology.

“On Monday and Tuesday it will continue to be a bit cloudy with the odd shower or two, but we are only expecting one of 2 mils in places, it will be fairy hit and miss,” said Ms Kovacevic.

“Wednesday at this stage, later in the day more showers are likely and there is a chance of a storm,” she said.

“Once we get to Thursday things become harder to predict at this stage because the broad weather pattern may shift, but at this stage there is the chance for wide spread wetter conditions on Thursday afternoon and Friday,” she said.

“But Thursday is a difficult day to forecast and things could change dramatically between now and then,” Katarina Kovacevic said.
