NEXT Wednesday a range of delicious dishes will be on offer at the Scone Grammar School to celebrate Harmony Day.

The Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre together with the Scone Library have coordinated the event as part of the United Nations day for the elimination of racial descrimination and Lee Watts, manager of the resource centre said food is often the best way to break down barriers.

“Harmony Day is a great night full of colour where you will meet new people from many backgrounds, enjoy great company and taste delicious food from around the world,” Mrs Watts said.

“Entertainment this year is Jamo Jamo Arts a West African Drum & Dance with guests able to try the instruments,” she said.

“We are also very luck and will be able to enjoy the talents of Neha Puri as she performs an Indian dance.

“Booked for the table already are Singapore Noodles, South African Boototie, Australian Pavlova and an American Apple Pie,” she said.

“If you would like to why not come in traditional dress.” Lee Watts said.
