SENIORS are encouraged to break new ground on Friday and delve deeper into cyber space, with the guiding hand of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre.

“It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a computer before, or you’d just like to do more on a computer, we can help you find your way to where you need online,” said Mrs Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre.

“Don’t worry you won’t press the wrong button and break anything,” she laughed.

“You can bring your own laptop or tablet, or you can borrow one of ours,” she said.

“There are so many more things that can be done online now which can make the life of seniors easier, so if we can help them get more comfortable online then it can really help them,” she said.

“The social aspects of learning how to use Skype and speak to their grandchildren online or stay in touch with friends on Facebook,” Lee Watts said.
