Drought Support Session

HUNTER Local Land Services will hold a drought management advice and support update on February 22 at Thornthwaite on Upper Dartbrook Road.

The update will provide targeted advice in conjunction with local producer experience for landholders managing properties and livestock during the drought.

Local farmers will be able to speak with key industry representatives at the end of the presentations.

Topics will include:

  • drought management and early weaning;
  • producer experience for managing drought;
  • water management;
  • drought recovery – short and long term, and
  • financial assistance options.

  • When: 9am – 1:30pm, Thursday, February 22, 2018.
  • Where: Thornthwaite, Upper Dartbrook Road, Scone.
