The Hunter region of the Office of Sport is hosting a Community Education Concussion Workshop on April 9 aimed at providing those involved in grassroots sports with details regarding sport-related concussions and how to deal with them.
- Dr Andrew Gardner (who runs the Hunter New England Health Sport Concussion Clinic) will present this workshop looking at elements around sport-related concussion relevant to grassroots sports plus return to play/activity protocols.
- This workshop is for coaches, team managers and those with responsibility for junior sport participants (eg. parents, carers.)
- The presentation will last approximately 90 minutes to two hours and allow time for questions covering the topic.
