Family Break from the Drought

TONIGHT Tom Curtain, multiple Golden Guitar winner and horseman will be performing his Katherine Outback Experience at the new White Park arena in Scone.

Cr Lee Watts said she was keen for Council to bring Tom to Scone as a community event to bring people together during the drought.

“Tom is a great family entertainer, great horseman, great working dog handler and strong advocate for mental health with the Speak Up message on behalf of Dolly’s Dream,” said Cr Watts.

“I think the community will have a brilliant night and thankfully the new arena is ready to go which is great to have some shelter during this heat,” she said.

“This is exactly why we have the new arena, it is great place to bring the community together,” Cr Lee Watts.

  • WHEN: 5:30pm gates open, 6pm show starts – 7:30/8pm.
  • WHERE: The new arena, White Park, Guernsey Street, Scone.
  • COST: Free.
  • BRING: Food and drinks, or buy from food stalls on site.
  • DON’T BRING: Dogs or glass.
