Neighbourhood Family Fun Day

Families are invited to a family fun day next Thursday at Scone Park.

Lee Watts manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said there will be lots of activities to occupy the children and a free sausage sizzle cooked by the Aberdeen Men’s Shed.

“There will be lots to do to keep the children busy during the school holidays with face painting, storytelling, craft, dance, puppets a photo booth and games, children can meet with emergency services and view their vehicles,” Lee Watts said.

“This year the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre, Family Insight and Upper Hunter Shire Council have partnered to create Scone Family Fun Day with community groups in the Upper Hunter,” she said.

“Lunch is also taken care of with a fee sausage sizzle cooked by the Aberdeen Men’s Shed.

  • When: 10am – 2pm, Thursday, October 6.
  • Where: Scone Park, Hill Street, Scone.
