Farmers Using Drones for Ferals

LOCAL Land Services are holding a drone demonstration day on May 10 to help farmers get maximum use of drones on their farms for weed and feral pest management.

Phil Milling from Sky Land Management will give a live demonstration, compare the cost to ground based control and examine how effective and efficient drones are for weed control in remote areas.

Richard Ali from Hunter Local Land Services will focus on how drones can be used for vertebrate pest management and control.

  • WHEN: 9:30am – 3pm, Wednesday, May 10.
  • WHERE: Emirates Park, Murrurundi.
  • COST: The workshop is free, with morning tea and lunch provided.
