Fireworks for Christmas

A FIREWORKS display will be the grand finale of Christmas in the Park on Saturday.

Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said, “we are very excited and invite everyone to our Christmas in the Park event, a community event on this Saturday 1st December.”

“All the favourites will return, with an opportunity to purchase a Christmas gift at one of the market stalls or try your luck at winning a ham on the chocolate wheel,” she said.

“Be entertained by the classic tunes of The Oh’s and well-known local talent Chloe Hall all volunteering their talents on our stage, look out for a few Christmas tunes to bring all of us into the Christmas spirit,” she said.

“The littlies will be treated with a visit from Santa as he makes an appearance during the event.

“Children will have unlimited access to rides and face painting by purchasing a wristband at the ticket booth for five dollars.

“I look forward to the community getting behind our Christmas event, a gold coin donation would be appreciated on entry with all funds going back into maintaining a five day a week service for this community,” she said.

“Gates open at 5:00pm with fireworks concluding the event at approximately 9:00pm. Please ensure your pets are safe and secure before coming to join us for a fun filled community Christmas,” Lee Watts said.
