Free Family Fun

THE Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre will be holding their free family fun day on October 11 at White Park.

Lee Watts, manager of the Centre said preparations were well underway.

‘The Upper Hunter Shire Council, Upper Hunter Homeless Service and the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre have partnered to organise a fun day of activities and information for families with children during the school holidays,’ said Mrs Watts.

‘The day will begin at 10.00am with storytelling, craft, face painting, Sparkles the clown, soccer darts, the Links Bus, coloured hairspray, henna, photo booth and an environmentally friendly activity. Children can also meet local emergency services,” she said.

All activities are free including fruit throughout the day and a sausage sizzle lunch,” Lee Watts said.
