Friends and Family Depending on You

FIRST-AID training will be conducted in Scone on Saturday.

Lee Watts, manager of the Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre said everyone should know basic first-aid.

“It literally saves lives and you never know when you may need to use it,” said Mrs Watts.

“Many people assume there will be someone else around who knows first-aid, but it may not be the case,” she said.

“It may be your child, your grandchild, you friend or any of your family, you never know when a life could depend on you,” she said.

“It is so important to keep your skills fresh and that if you are ever in a situation where you need to do first-aid you are confident and calm about what you need to do,” Lee Watts said.

The course is WorkCover approved.
