Holiday Tennis Camp

THIS week has seen more than 50 local children participate in a four day tennis camp hosted by Scone Hardcourt Tennis Association and conducted by Dean Trembath and his assistant coaches.

Dean travels from Sydney each holidays to hold the tennis camp at Scone.

Children from four years old where part of this weeks camp and were divided into age groups, playing lots of games and drills, learning all aspects of the tennis game.

Each child received a prize at the presentation held on Thursday, with tennis racquets, t-shirts, wrist band and racquet grips all up for grabs to the most improved players of the week.

The next tennis camp will be held on the second week of the July school holiday commencing Monday, July 11.

Adult competitions resume on April 26, Tuesday ladies  play at Scone 10am and Tuesday night mixed comp at Scone 6.30pm.
