Illegal Hunting Addressed Tonight

TONIGHT the game licensing unit of the NSW Department of Primary Industries is holding a meeting in Murrurundi to discuss illegal hunting.

It follows operations to combat illegal hunting in the Upper Hunter last month by the game licensing unit and local police: Poachers Caught Red Handed.

The meeting will discuss the range of resources to help local landholders address illegal hunting, licensing requirements for hunters, how to report illegal hunting and options for how landholders can manage wild deer.

The meeting will be held at 6:30pm until 8pm at the Murrurundi RSL Club Hall.
