Motorcyclist Death in Court Today

THE case involving a head on collision and death of motorcyclist Scott Pukallus outside Scone in August last year was mentioned in Tamworth Court today, heard by Magistrate Prowse.

Benjamin Clark, a 24 year old from Scone who was the driver of the south bound utility that struck Mr Pukallus is facing charges of dangerous driving occasioning death, drive in a manner dangerous and negligent driving occasioning death regarding the August accident.

The prosecution in the case asked for more time as there are outstanding brief items and requisitions in relation to the vehicles headlights.

Magistrate Prowse noted that Mr Clark had travelled from Scone for the matter and that the prosecution was not ready to proceed, the matter was referred back to the Scone Court on June 22 where a committal or plea must take place.
