Murrurundi Calls Local Artists

ENTRIES for the Murrurundi Art Prize are open and local artists are encouraged to get creative and submit their works.

The first prize is $1,000 and the People’s Choice award is $500 and to encourage local talent, only artists with local postcodes can enter.

The prize is growing each year and new artists who have not exhibited before are encouraged make the leap.

The judge this year is Peter F. Daly a Vietnam veteran born in Coraki, New South Wales, who has spent a lifetime as an artist and has works in public collections in local Australian galleries such as Lismore, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Logan through to many in the United States where he now lives and teaches.
