New Cricket Nets Ready

Filed in Sports Recent by January 25, 2017

FINDING a time slot to practice in the cricket nets after school has just become easier for Aberdeen’s junior cricketers.

The Club received a grant of $14,832 in June last year and together with funding from the Aberdeen cricket clubs and the Upper Hunter Shire Council the nets are now open for bowling.

There are more than 100 members of the Aberdeen Junior Cricket Club aged between five and 18 years who will be able to use the new nets.
