Parking Problem Continues

TODAY local ambulance were frustrated by yet another vehicle blocking their driveway.

scone.com.au first reported on drivers ignoring the “No Standing” signs and leaving their vehicles blocking the ambulance driveway, at the beginning of April see story: Ambulance Frustrated.

Council resolved to install “No Stopping” signs, have the section of road painted to ensure drivers were alerted to the emergency service driveway and rangers were told to prioritised monitoring of the area.

The Roads and Maritime Services are tasked with painting the road three weeks ago and Council were advised today that it would be done “as soon as possible”.
