ELIZABETH PARK TOILETS DAMAGED

20151208PoliceTape07RWBetween 8pm on Friday and 6:15am on Saturday the men’s and disabled toilets at Elizabeth Park were damaged.

Three fire extinguishers were let off, which may have been stolen from a neighbouring construction site.

 

KANGAROO WARNING

One in seven crashes on country roads involves an animal and in the drier weather police have cautioned drivers to be aware of kangaroos coming out of the hills.

The key messages from police are to:

  • slow down when you see animal signs
  • be alert at sunrise and sunset, and
  • do not swerve to miss an animal as you may lose control of the vehicle.

 

FAKE AUSTRALIA POST EMAILS

An email scam claiming to be from Australia Post asking the recipient to click on “get shipping label” information on their parcel is circulating.

Police warn people not to click on any links from unknown senders.
