BUNNAN BIKE BUST-UP

A 9 year old boy had an accident riding his motorcycle in a paddock on Ridgelands Road, Bunnan on Wednesday at approximately 4:30pm and had to be airlifted to Tamworth base hospital by the Westpac Rescue helicopter.

His mother was in the house and went to check on him when she heard the motorcycle engine stop and found hm on the ground unconscious.

She administered first aid and the ambulance was called.

Police arrived on the scene first and assisted with first aid.

The doctor from the Westpac Rescue helicopter stablised the child and established there were no apparent life threatening injuries.

 

FUEL STOLEN

A bulldozer was broken into sometime between Monday and yesterday while it was parked near Llangollen Road, Cassilis.

The fuel cap was removed and fuel was stolen from the tank.

 

SCONE BUSINESS BROKEN INTO

A Scone business, on Kelly Street was broken into between 4pm on Monday and 6:45am on Tuesday.

The padlocks on the rear door were cut and cash from the tip jar was stolen.

 

WALLET FOUND

A lady in Shaw Street who reported her wallet stolen last Friday, has found her wallet.

While it is not uncommon in urban areas for wallets, jewellery and cash to be stolen while people are at home, police did find it unusual for the Scone area.

 

G-STRING WEARING NUISANCE

A 45 year old man was arrested last night north of Scone,  for making nuisance and obscene phone calls to 000 from a phone box while wearing nothing but a g-string.
