ROSSGOLE TOWER DESTROYED

THE communications tower on Rossgole Mountain has been destroyed following three tension bolts being unscrewed, which supported one of three braces of the tower.

The malicious damage occurred sometime between 6pm on July 19 and 9am on July 20.

 

COLLARED FOR NO DOG COLLARS

AT approximately 12:20pm on Sunday, July 3, police stopped a vehicle for random breath testing on Gundy Road.

There were three dogs in the tray of the vehicle which were not wearing identification tags.

The driver was issued with a three infringement notices for the offence of ‘dog not wear collar and name tag – not dangerous/menacing/restricted dog’ and a traffic infringement notice for ‘fail to notify change of address.’

 

GATES STOLEN IN MERRIWA

BETWEEN 3pm on Monday, July 11 and 5pm on Wednesday, July 20 there were 21 gates stolen from the outdoor area of the Merriwa Showground at Dutton Street.

 

NATIONAL PARK DAMAGE

TIMBER seats and timber bollards at Towarri National Park on Middlebrook Road, Scone were removed and set alight sometime between 2pm on Wednesday, July 13 and 9am on Tuesday, July 19.

Once the bollards were removed vehicles have gained access the Park and caused damage to the grass.
