LESSON FOR LEARNERS

On Sunday at approximately 1:20am police pulled over a green Nissan Pulsar displaying P plates on Oxford Road, Scone for random breath testing.

The 17 year old female driver from Scone provided her licence to police which was class C learner.

At the time the driver was accompanied by an 18 year old male, however he only held a class C learner licence.

Police issued the driver with traffic infringement notices for holder of learner licence drive unaccompanied by an authorised person and fail to display L plate on car as required.

The driver is suspended from driving until December 12.

BREAK AND ENTER SCONE

Between 9am on Friday, September 9 and 2pm on Friday, September 16 a house in Coolibah Street, Scone was broken into by removing a sheet of corrugated iron from the roof and then kicking a hole in the plaster ceiling.

The offender left a bucket with wet paper on the floor of the living room.

The house is currently vacant and nothing was stolen.
