Police Update on Timor Accident

TODAY police will continue examining the scene of a fatal accident at Timor yesterday and are preparing a report for the Coroner.

The accident occurred on a private property off Waverley Road, between Timor and Gundy, resulting in the death of three men and injuries to a five year old boy.

Initial reports are the vehicle was travelling to the property yesterday morning and when they failed to return in the afternoon.

A neighbour found the vehicle at approximately 5pm.

The vehicle appears to have rolled down an embankment and all occupants were ejected.

The three men were deceased and the five year old boy found nearby suffering a broken arm and minor injuries.

The Tamworth based Westpac Rescue Helicopter cared for the young boy at the scene before transporting him to the Scott Memorial Hospital in Scone, a road ambulance later transferred him to the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle.
