AUSTRALIA Post has issued a letter to the residents of Murrurundi advising that a new operator is needed to run the local post office.

The current operators have advised Australia Post that they are retiring and will finish at close of business on Friday, April 29.

Australia Post has invited any interested parties to contact their network manager Joanne McGinniskin for further information (02) 4978 4505.

Enquiries and requests for information can be made until close of business on March 18.
