Lee Watts, president of the Horse Festival committee said the banners replace the old ones and have been designed to be more prominent.

“They are longer so that they will stand out more and the photograph by Katrina Partridge of Arlington is beautiful,” said Ms Watts.

“There will be 15 in Scone, two in Muswellbrook and three in Singleton and it is great that the other towns have agreed to promote our event,” she said.

“We are thankful to Muswellbrook Shire Council who helped with the graphic design of the banners, it is great that the local towns can come together to support each other with these events,” she said.

“Next year we will order more, but for this year we are pleased with how well they have turned out and they will definitely improve the streetscape,” Lee Watts said.
