Recorded Rainfalls – More on the Way

The rainfalls recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology during the past 24 hours in the Upper Hunter are as follows:

• Aberdeen: 9.6ml
• Cassilis: 8ml
• Merriwa: 16ml
• Murrurundi: 19ml
• Scone: 11ml

Light showers are expected throughout today with the possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon in some places.

Tomorrow severe thunderstorms are expected to reach into the Upper Hunter and may bring damaging wind gusts and hail.

The rainfall is expected to be light across the region, however areas under storms can expect higher falls.
