Right Note on ANZAC Day

WHILE the national anthem of New Zealand sung by Raz Wilson was missed by many at this year’s ANZAC Day ceremony in Scone, 11 year old Mia Kellaher was proud make her public debute performance singing the Australian national anthem alongside her mum Tash.

“I’m nervous until I start singing, but once I get into the groove it gets easier,” said Ms Kellaher.

“I’ve liked everything about singing since I was little, the tunes, the music,” she said.

“It is a very big deal to sing on ANZAC Day because it is paying respect to all of the soldiers and it’s a big day for loads of people and remembering all of the people who sacrificed their lives for us,” Mia Kellaher said.
