TO celebrate International Women’s Day a four kilometre fun run will be held at the Bill Rose Sports Complex with funds raised going to the Olivia Inglis Foundation, in memory of Olivia Inglis who died at the Scone Horse Trials in 2016.

Kiwa Fisher, vice president of the Scone Horse Trials said the committee was pleased the community chose the Foundation and will call the event the “Run for Olivia”.

“The Scone Horse Trials Committee is very touched that the wider community has chosen to support the Olivia Inglis Foundation and would like to encourage sports and community groups, schools, pony clubs, pre-schools, families and friends to get behind this great initiative and Run for Olivia on 11 March,” said Mr Fisher.

Also at the event will be community markets, food stalls, live music and children’s activities such as laser tag.
