Open Day in Singleton: In ladies golf three players had a successful trip to Singleton on August 2 to play in their Open Day.

Lyn Banks won the overall scratch event by 3 shots, Judy Carmody was runner up in the C Grade scratch and Kerry McLennan won the long drive in B Grade.

Wet Weather: Locally golf was unable to be played on Thursday due to the saturated course.

This has resulted in a number of program changes.

Hopefully a few good weather days will prevail as the ladies start the Club Championships on Thursday, August 11.

The round 1 sponsor for the nett event is the Scone RSL Group.

This will be followed by Round 2 on Sunday, August 14 for the Scone Newsagency Trophy.

With tee times from 9.30am, social play will be restricted in the morning.

The final round will be on Thursday, August 18 for the Sue and Alan Watts Trophy.

All divisions have been well supported.

Holden Scramble: Members are reminded that the deferred Holden Scramble is fast approaching with entries needing to be in by August 20 for the event on Saturday, September 3.
