On a scorching day when the temperature reached 40, a small field contested an 18 Hole Stableford and Mystery 2 Ball event at Scone Golf Course on Saturday, December 31.

The Ross Banks Trophy went to Stuart Dawson and Jeff Harrington when their individual scores of 34 and 40 were teamed after the round to record 48 points in the 2 Ball.

Jeff had a fine round which included two eagles on the 1st and 13th holes!

The A Grade winner was Clayton Rogers with 39 points who beat Joel Woods on a countback.

B Grade was won by Alan Wood with the equal best score of the day, 40 points.

Jim Elder won C Grade with 38 points.

All players took advantage of carts to get around in the heat.

The NTP on the 2nd / 11th was won by Alan Wood, 2.01 metres, whilst on the 8th / 17th Scott Shann was the winner, 1.51 metres.

Again a good score was required to win a ball and these went to: Alan Wood, Jeff Harrington 40, Clayton Rogers, Joel Woods 39, Jim Elder 38, Col Solway and John Roe on 37 points.
