Scone Golf Report: Sept 28 – 30

A good field of Scone golfers supported the Muswellbrook Bayswater Cup (men) and Bayswater Shield (ladies), on Saturday, September 30. The best result for a Scone player was Ross Banks who had 69 nett to be runner up in A Grade.

Meanwhile, a 24 Hole Par 3 event at Aberdeen had a group of Scone players compete.
Runners-up

  • A grade Robert Colbert 73 nett
  • B grade Peter Daunton 71 nett c/b
  • Putting – Sean Constable 36 putts
  • Dimmock’s Quality Meats 1st/10th Ben Daniels
  • NTP’s 3rd/12th Robert Colbert, 4th/13th David Walters, 5th/14th Clarrie Croft, 6th/15th David Walters, 7th/16th Dale Fittock (66cm), 8th/17th S. Dawson, 9th/18th Robert Baker.
  • Putting – Sean Constable 36 puttsPutting – Sean Constable 36 puttsSean Constable won the putting with 36, and in the 6th/15th David WaltersNTP’s, the 6th / 15th went to David Walters and the 8th / 17th to Stuart Dawson.

On Thursday, September 28, Judy Carmody had the best score with 36 points at Aberdeen in the 18 Hole Stableford. The runner up was June Jukes on a countback from Jo Brown on 28 points. Balls went to these players and Joan Shaw, Annie Woods and Ann Cameron. On Thursday October 5 the ladies will play at Muswellbrook. A few players will also travel to Pacific Dunes for their Open Day on the same date.
