The Scone Old Boys hosted and organised the Group 21 carnival, with Marika Eveleigh as their right hand person.

The day culminated in a grudge match between St Joseph’s High School Aberdeen and Muswellbrook High School in the open high school game.

A tackle which flipped over Taylor Prior from St Joseph’s sparked tensions between the two teams, but even between 17 year old boys common sense prevailed and the game continued.

St Joseph’s took out the game 14 to 4.

St Joseph’s captain Beau Harris said, “we are competitive on the field, but off the field we are all good mates.”
