THANK YOU to all that attended and supported our annual fundraiser and senior presentation; we hope you all had a great time.

Raffle prize winners were: Rachel Murdoch (Fishing Kayak), Ian Campbell (Chainsaw), Karen Jackson (NSW Jersey), Simone Waters (Brumbies Jersey), Tash Cox (Berry & French Pamper Pack), Chris Sowter ($100 Voucher Royal Hotel), Neil Scott (Peppers Hair & Beauty Voucher), Laura Wickham (Hunter Belle Cheese Voucher).

A big THANK YOU to the business houses that kindly donated prizes to allow this to happen, Scone Sports Store, Scone Outdoor Products, Peppers Hair & Beauty, Royal Hotel, Berry & French Muswellbrook and Hunter Belle Cheese.

This weekend concludes the hockey season with the grand final.

Junior Presentations will be conducted at the fields this Saturday commencing at 11am and a short seniors presentation at 4:30pm as most of the awards were awarded on Saturday night.

We encourage all juniors to attend the presentation as they all will receive something as well as a sausage sizzle, drink and a jumping castle setup for them to enjoy.

All games this weekend will begin a bit earlier to allow for extra time and presentations please see below for times of the days events.

Junior teams playing please bring a shirt to change into so that shirts can be returned to your coach following the game.

Finals Results

The Under 12’s Final had Landmark Townsand (4) defeated Willow Tree (1 ). Commiserations to Willow Tree who are now out of the running. Congratulations and good luck to Ray White and Landmark Townsend who will play off this weekend in the Grand Final at 8:30am

The Under 17’s Final was an intense game with a nil all draw at full time. After a short break it went into 10mins each way golden goal with the verdict having to be then determined by way of a running stroke shoot out where Equilaw (2) defeated Tilses Building (0). Commiserations to Tiles Building who are now out of the running. Congratulations and good luck to Belmore and Equilaw who will play off this weekend in the Grand Final at 9:45am.

In the Women’s B grade Final RSL (3) defeated Belmore Hotel (1). Commiserations to Belmore Hotel who are now out of the running. Congratulations and good luck to Legends and RSL who will play off this weekend in the Women’s B grade Grand Final position at 11:30am

The Women’s A grade Final was a hard fort for game with teams on 1 all at the conclusion of ordinary time. After a short break the ladies then went into 10mins each way golden goal time with still a 1 all score line. Running strokes then proceeded to determine the winner. The final score Royal Hotel (3) defeated Keevers Cougars (1). Commiserations to Keevers Cougars who are now out of the running. Congratulations and good luck to Willow Tree Hotel and Royal Hotel who will play off this weekend in the Women’s A grade Grand Final at 1pm.

The Men’s A Final had Muswellmotive (2) defeat Old Fellas (1). Commiserations to Old Fellas who are now out of the running. Congratulations and good luck to Royal Hotel and Muswellmotive who will play off this weekend in the Men’s A grade Grand Final at 3pm.

Grand Final Draw

We hope to see you all there for a great day of Grand Final action for you to enjoy, these are the running times on Saturday:

  • 10:00am to 2:00pm – Jumping Castle
  • 8:30am – Under 12’s – Landmark Townsend v Willow Tree
  • 9:45am – Under 17’s – Belmore v Equilaw
  • 11:00am – Junior presentation including Minkeys – All players will receive an award as well as a sausage sizzle and drink.
  • 11:30pm – Women’s B – Legends v RSL
  • 1:00pm – Women’s A – Willow Tree Hotel v Royal Hotel
  • 3:00pm – Men’s A Final – Royal Hotel v Muswellmotive
  • 4:30pm – Senior Presentation
