Scone Hockey: Round 5 Results

  • Training as always will be on Thursday at 4:30pm. A reminder that it is compulsory to wear mouth guards and shin pads at training.
  • Names for the U11s Kim Small/Michael York Cup being played in Tamworth on Fri 15th – Sun 17th Jul are still being taken. This is a three day carnival and all games are played on Turf. At this stage our numbers are building for a mixed team which will then play in the York Cup. Other development opportunities are also available throughout this carnival from player coach clinics, umpire development, coach development and indoor hockey. If you haven’t got your name down please put it down on Saturday at the control room.
  • Women’s Masters training will commence on Saturday at 12 noon. If you haven’t paid your $50 deposit please do so to Marj or Linda on Saturday. 3 teams have been nominated being a O35s, O40s and O50s. Numbers are still being sought in all 3 teams so if you are interested in attending please be at training on Saturday or phone Marj on 0428 302 310 to discuss.
  • Men’s Masters Over 40s, any interest men wanting to play in the Over 40s on 15th-17th July it will be played at Moorebank (Sydney) this year. Please return via email or let Kim know so that we can see if we have enough numbers to nominate a team. Thank you to those whom have already registered their interest in the Men’s O45s. Anyone who hasn’t yet, it is being played 17th-19th June at Wollongong. Please let Kim know ASAP.
  • From this week coming, all U12 games will have 2 umpires and an umpire coach on the field with them.
