It is the best market I have seen to date, across the board.

There were 1,042 cattle penned.

There were a light offering of export cattle and they sold to firm rates on last week.

The majority of the yard was made of of some finished supplementary fed yearlings along with some crop assisted yearlings and light weight weaner cattle.

Good finished kill cattle were ten to 15 cents dearer with tops making to $3.74 a kilo.

Cattle to go back onto feedlots and crop, back grounding cattle, were up to 20 cents dearer, with the steer portion making up to $3.85 and heifer yearlings making up to $3.70.

Some good yards of light weight weaner cattle met very strong demands, weaners made up to $4.20 a kilo and the heifer making up to $4 a kilo.

Some feeder steers and heifers, not many offered, also sold to very strong rates.
