Scone Stock Report: June 28

Filed in Recent News by June 28, 2016

By Stuart Sheldrake.

20160517AngusCowTHERE were only 650 cattle at the sale today, which is due to the weather and also because it is traditionally a slower time of year.

The market was 10 to 15 cents dearer again on last week and the prices continue to break records.

The best cows made $2.78 and a pen of light weigh black weaners made over $4 a kilo.

All categories sold to dearer trends.

We expect this trend to continue throughout winter.
