Scott Street Fire

NSW Fire and Rescue crews from Scone and Aberdeen were called to a house fire last night at approximately 11.25pm at 9 Scott Street in Scone.

Crews arrived to find the three bedroom fibro and wood home still alight and the fire destroyed half of the house before it was able to be extinguished.

No one was at home at the time of the fire and initial investigations indicate the fire appears to have begun in one of the bedrooms.

Fire crews left the scene at approximately 12:40am.

Police have secured the premises and forensic investigators will arrive later today.

A NSW Fire and Rescue spokesperson said the fire appeared to have started in one of the bedrooms.
