Showers in Past 24 Hours

DURING the past 24 hours the following rainfalls have been recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology across the Upper Hunter:

• Aberdeen: 1.4ml
• Barrington (Carey’s Peak): 5.8ml
• Merriwa: 2ml
• Murrurundi: 4.2ml

The light rain is only expected to fall for the next few hours before clearing.

There is a chance of light rain on the weekend as a cold front will push showers in the south of the state further north.
